Good earplugs, adjustable on the go
Overall, I'm happy with the Vario: they're stylish and they do help me deal with noisy environments and pay better attention to conversations. And although I know you're not necessarily supposed to sleep with them in, they do help attenuate snoring and other loud noises. I even managed to get a few hours of uninterrupted sleep while on an international flight a few days ago

What settings are available on Vario V2?
Vario V2 features a mechanical dial with three modes to adjust your auditory environment:
- Social Mode: Lowers volume by 18 dB (SNR) while keeping speech clear for easier conversations.
- Immerse Mode: Reduces volume by 23 dB (SNR) while preserving crisp sound for live events.
- Zone Mode: Delivers peace and quiet with the highest noise reduction at 27 dB (SNR).
How do I adjust the noise reduction modes on Vario V2?
On your Vario V2 earplugs, you'll see groups of dots representing the different noise reduction modes and a mechanical dial. To adjust, simply rotate the dial to align with the desired mode:
- Social Mode: Rotate to the 1 dot at the front. This mode reduces volume by 18 dB (SNR), filtering background noise while keeping conversations clear.
- Immerse Mode: Turn to the 2 dots in the center. This mode lowers volume by 23 dB (SNR) while maintaining sound quality.
- Zone Mode: Rotate to the 3 dots at the back for the strongest noise reduction at 27 dB (SNR).
Note: You can switch modes directly in-ear and will feel a gentle 'click' when the mode is selected.
Can I sleep with Vario V2?
Vario V2 isn’t designed for sleeping. They’re bulkier than other models, so they may not be the most comfortable for sleeping.
For earplugs designed for sleep, Zone V2 is your best option. These earplugs offer maximum sleep comfort, powerful noise reduction and all-night security – even for side sleepers.
